Listen "12-8-21: Would you sleep in a luggage rack to achieve your dream?"
Episode Synopsis
I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast.Life is all about perspective. Certain things or situations in life seem inherently better and that might even be true. But the journey along the way between situations and circumstances is where our life and our growth actually happen. When I was in the minor leagues we carried our own luggage, stayed in seedy motels and took 18 hours bus rides where we slept in the luggage racks. When I got to the major leagues my luggage was always taken care of, the planes were chartered, I got meal money everyday that would cover the best meal you’ve ever had and the hotels were spectacular. But when I was in the minors I never thought about how awful it was or what I was missing out on. I was just happy to be playing the game I loved. I wasn’t doing it in hopes of one day making a lot of money, it was all a continuum on the path to achieving a dream. I loved all of it, and how great I was treated in the majors was just an unexpected perk when I got there. So find that thing in your life that you would be willing to do for free or to sleep in the luggage rack just to get a chance to do it another day. Do that and you will find happiness and maybe even successRemember, Sax in the Morning swag is now available on my Instagram site. Go to "Sax in the Morning" underscore podcast.
