She attended Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine for medical school and completed her residency at Atrium Health where she specialized in underserved medicine and served as Chief Resident. Most recently, Dr. Brown completed her Master of Public Health Degree from Harvard School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy. Her area of expertise includes addressing racism and implicit bias in medicine, ending Black maternal health disparities, and supporting diversity and inclusion in medicine.
