This week we sit down with our friend Ron Gustafson, founder, builder, and owner of Jamaica Beach RV Resort to talk about his park in Galveston and the huge announcement his family has made recently regarding a new resort they are developing, Twin Oaks Resort.We've been visiting Jamaica Beach RV Resort on Galveston Island in Texas every year since 2013. The 3-generation Gustafson / Salois Family founded, developed, built and operate this park. Over the years, we have watched as they have worked tirelessly to build a top destination park on the Texas Gulf Coast.During our recent stay, the family announced that they have purchased land between Houston and San Antonio (right off of Interstate 10) to develop a new RV resort. Ron shares their plans for the new resort in this episode.We are very excited to see the "old Texas charm" that will be Twin Oaks Resort. Dora passed away unexpectedly recently. In the 10 years that we knew her, Dora always had a smile on her face and a focus on hospitality.
