On this episode of Rocks to Roots, we talk with the Farm Managers Grant Weber and Duane Zbranek from Vets on the Farm, a hyper-local, organic farm located just south of I-90 in Spokane and east of the Palouse Highway. Grant and Duane tell us all about the Vets on the Farm program and how they facilitate ways for Veterans to connect with people in the agricultural industry, fellow Veterans, and financial and technical resources. Plus, they let us in on some of their farming practices and why their commitment to producing nutrient-dense food for our community is so important.
