The webinar "Smarter Shipping with OCIANA® focused on enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability in maritime operations through a collaborative optimization solution developed by GSTS. The OCIANA platform, a dual-use SaaS solution, aims to optimize port calls and enable just-in-time arrivals by facilitating data sharing and real-time decision-making among various maritime stakeholders. The discussion covered the benefits of streamlining ship-to-shore operations, the role of AI in port optimization, and the importance of data security and trust among competitors, with the initiative being part of a two-year project funded by Canada's Ocean Supercluster.
OCIANA’s Collaborative Optimisation Solution ensures timely vessel arrivals based on berth availability, provides real-time updates on vessel movements and potential delays, and enables cost reduction strategies for shipping companies and operators.
