Listen "Project Destined."
Episode Synopsis
Cedric Bobo is the co-founder of Project Destined, a non-profit that teaches minority teenagers the ins and outs of real estate investments. The name, Project Destined, was inspired by the 2016 film Destined, which tells the story of a young boy who in one reality is a drug dealer, and in the other, a successful architect. The outcome of a single event determines the path the man pursues. Cedric, who has roughly two decades of investor and investment banking experience, plans to change the outcome to a successful one for many minority teenagers. In 2015, Cedric was named to the “10 Top Powerful Black People on Wall Street You Should Know,” so he has a lot to share.
