Listen "Two Dyslexics Talk Innovation & Neurodiversity, with Ruth Muller, Director at Frucor - Ep. 48"
Episode Synopsis
This episode was recorded while I was in Auckland a few weeks ago and I got the chance to meet up with Ruth Muller who is the research, development and marketing inventions director at Frucor. We touch on so many topics in this podcast from adult socialisation beverage innovation, what is innovation and neurodiversity. Ruth last year found out she is Dyslexic and has spent her 20 years in the FMCG space playing to the left-brain workplace rules. Now she is learning how to build on her right brain strengths and is loving it. It was amazing to chat to Ruth who sees the world how I do as I found out I was dyslexic at 23 after struggling through school and exams. Ruth is now using her new dyslexic superpower to charge to way forward on creating a welcoming workforce for everyone and how she can help her team build on their strengths even when the normal world typically sees them as a disability. So many knowledge bombs were dropped in this episode and I am sure you will take something from this episode.
