Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.I am freshly back from Gen Con 2023, and I have lots of stories to share! I came back with loads of goodies and experiences, and I am eager to tell you all about it. This year marked Wizards of the Coast's return to Gen Con, their first appearance since 2014. I played a ton of DCC RPG, visited the Goodman Games booth a lot, and got to spend a lot of time chatting with other content creators from the OSR space, as well as WotC staff. Although I didn't think ahead and record any interviews (hindsight is always 20/20!) I came back with amazing insights for my show and my home games as well. There is so much to share that I don't think I can possibly convey it all here, but tune in to hear me do my best in this week's episode.
