Troll Lord Games, the publisher of C&C swooped in to save a troubled kickstarter project helmed by none other than Ernie Gygax Jr! The Marmoreal Tomb was an ambitious project to say the least that encountered a number of unanticipated hurdles and was itself the victim of its own overly ambitious promises. Doomed to fading into failed Kickstarter obscurity until Troll Lord Games came to the rescue (in very daring D&D fashion!) - The Marmoreal Tomb has now been delivered to its most patient backers, including me. I wanted to take time this week to give an overview of this impressive set, as well as a quick overview of Castles and Crusades system itself.
