Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!On this episode of Evercade Expeditions, I go over this relatively new cart and explore a game that is so reminiscent of the classic Delphine Software titles that it pays homage to, that I get a sense of nostalgia from it even though it came out in 2023! This feels like a special cart, from the manual to the game itself, you can really feel the love that was poured into this one.  There has been some contention over the fact that this cart only features one game on it, but it is a good one. This game wears its inspiration on its sleeve but adds some modern twists that make it much more approachable than the legacy it follows.
