Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. It is all about Nintendo this week, and as you can imagine there is a lot to say about them. Definitely the most important and impactful company in the video game industry today, Nintendo is unmatched in many regards - certainly from their roster of IPs and landmark titles, as well as their hardware innovations and reinventions on how we experience the joy of video games. This storied company has weathered many rough waters through this industry and manufactured the tallest heights it can reach. Nintendo stands defiantly tall through it all. I think most of us today owe our love of this hobby directly or indirectly to Nintendo. This industry will always be better with them as an active participant.
