Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!Both Sony and Nintendo had their game showcases prior to Tokyo Game Show on the exact same day - September 14, 2024. What better excuse is there to have another instalment of Versus mode?? This week I pit the 2 video game titans against one another by looking at what they had on offer to tantalize their respective fans. This time we have a clear winner, but both showcases had their own strengths and worthwhile offerings either way. These 2 presentations are likely the last such showcases we will have from them until 2024, so you would expect it to be good as we are about to head into the holiday season.
