Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!In this inaugural episode of Evercade Expeditions, I play through and report back my findings and impressions of the 12 titles included on the red spine cart # 23 for the Evercade - Renovation Products Collection 1! This is a collection of relatively obscure and cult favourite titles from Renovation Products, that offers a pretty decent variety. There are some surprising bangers on here and serious hidden gems for retro fans, but not every title included is great. Included are a couple of duds as well. I was honestly quite surprised at how great those included hidden gems were, and how I went through adolescence with my Genesis not ever hearing anything about some of these games. Thanks to the Evercade I don't need to worry about taking out a loan to afford these classics. I think this one makes a great addition to an Evercade owners library.
