In part 1 of our conversation with Dr. DeShawn Taylor, Founder and President of Desert Star Institute for Family Planning, Inc., we learn ways to help support reproductive justice and abortion access in Arizona. Dr. Taylor has created a safe space for healthcare access, and her patients stand at risk if the harsh and unconstitutional bans signed by Arizona's Governor are enforced.
Dr. Taylor is not only working to keep abortion accessible, but also to train the next generation of providers who can support all pregnant people, regardless of gender.
