I'll walk through what a day in the life of a detox patient looks like, the benefits of kickstarting your sobriety in such an environment, and how to continue nurturing your sobriety and expanding your support network post-detox.
Detox facilities provide a structured and medically supervised environment for individuals beginning their journey away from addiction. In this episode, I provide you with a glimpse into the daily life within the walls. I discuss a typical day, what to expect from staff as well as your peers. Everyone's experience is different however my hope is to shed some fear for those that are considering getting help.
