Christianity in America faces many challenges and threats in 2022, but Pastor Steve argues in this episode that the greatest of all currently facing the church is the temptation to marry the cause of Christ with partisan politics. While Christians should certainly be politically active and vote accordingly, Christians should not just be considered another voting bloc or special interest group that can be bought. This episode explores the dangers that occur when our identity is centered more around our political ideology than on Christ, and when our mission is seen more to win elections or gain power than winning souls for Christ.
