Listen "The Victim Archetype & Choosing Happiness "
Episode Synopsis
We all have the victim archetype within us but sometimes we can get over identified or over attached to it.
It’s the part that says, “Why me?” “Life is unfair” “Good things happen to other people, bad things always happen to me” “I’ll never get what I want.” The victim feels helpless and hopeless and therefore doesn’t work to change things.
When dealing with the victim, we have to call upon other parts of us to help us see things from a different perspective and with a clearer lens.
It’s not always easy in the moment, but at some point we have to make a choice, take self responsibility and actually choose happiness for ourselves.
It’s a process that requires compassion, patience and courage.
