Listen "Guest: Andrew Lihotz (Philly Select League) | Ep. 25"
Episode Synopsis
Andrew Lihotz, Director of Philly Select Baseball, is committed to honoring the essence of the game by fostering a league that stays true to its core values. His passion for baseball is rooted in his own playing career, which began as a varsity pitcher at Northeast High School, where he helped lead the team to two public league championships. Andrew went on to play as a four-year starter at Rutgers University-Camden and continued his journey in independent baseball, gaining invaluable insights that now inform his coaching philosophy. Over the past decade, he has served as a pitching coach at both Holy Ghost Prep and Bucks County Community College.
In this episode, Lihotz talks about his playing career, interest in building a sustainable baseball program, and the purpose behind the Philly Select Baseball League.
