He is also the Residency Director at his sight, and a Professor at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Dr. Ferrucci has lectured extensively, with a special interest in Diabetes, Diabetic Eye Disease, Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Fluorescein Angiography, and OCT. He has published multiple articles in several optometric journals. He is an active member in the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association, as well as a fellow in both the American Academy of Optometry and the Optometric Retinal Society. He currently serves as Past President of the ORS and is the founding chair of the Retina Special Interest Group for the American Academy of Optometry
