Send us a textAbout Dr. Paul Karpecki:Dr. Karpecki received his doctor of optometry degree from Indiana University andcompleted a fellowship in cornea in Kansas City, in affiliation with thePennsylvania College of Optometry. He currently serves as Director of Corneaand External Disease at Kentucky Eye Institute in Lexington KY and for Center forSight in Carmel IN. He also serves as an Associate Professor at the KentuckyCollege of Optometry in Pikeville, and is the Medical Director for KEPLR Vision.Dr. Karpecki was appointed to the Delphi International Society, which includedthe top 25 dry eye experts in the world. He co-chaired the Dry Eye Summit forthe profession, was selected to the TFOS DEWS II Diagnostic Methodology sub-committee and appointed co-chair of the upcoming and previous Tear Film andOcular Surface Society Symposia. He served as Co-chair of the Dry EyeShowcase at the Ophthalmic Innovations Summit. He has an extensive corneapractice and as an example he has over 600 positive diagnosed Sjogrens’Syndrome patients under his care.He currently serves as the Chief Clinical Editor for Review of Optometry and he ison the board of the charitable organization Optometry Giving Sight.
