This week, I chatted with Comedian, Paul Gilmartin. Paul hosts the Mental Illness Happy Hour, consisting of interviews with artists, friends and the occasional doctor. The show is geared towards anyone interested in or affected by depression, addiction and other mental challenges that are so prevalent in the creative arts. In this episode, we talk about his complex relationship with his mother, parentification, family dynamics and deciding to go no contact with a parent. Paul is a wealth of information when it comes to Mental Health so I recommend checking out his podcast as well.
