Where does your identity lie? Are you striving for approval, or resting in the intimacy of being God's child? Through the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, we're reminded that God's love isn't earned, it's received. Whether you've run from God or you've stayed home bound by duty, the Father is still pursuing you. As long as you try to impress Jesus, you'll miss intimacy with Him. Your joy doesn't come from your spiritual resume it comes from being known by God. God is  not looking for spiritual employees, He is adopting children into His family. His grace is not limited, and His love knows no bounds.  This week, shift your posture. Start your prayers with worship, not requests. Come to God as His child.
