Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, a team captain, has been awarded the Lott IMPACT Trophy, recognizing his exceptional character and skill on and off the field. This prestigious award, named after NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, highlights players who excel in Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community, and Tenacity. Downs, who recorded sixty tackles, five tackles for loss, and two interceptions this season, is also a finalist for the Bednarik Award, the Nagurski Trophy, and the Thorpe Award.
