In July 2021, I moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico because it was "somewhere new, and a timezone where I can run my business easily". [Context: I serve mostly US/ Canada clients in my subscription-based outsourcing company - www.proximityoutsourcing.com.]Plus, I was in a new relationship and I wanted a "fresh start".That relationship quickly ended though, and I was stuck with a 90-day lease. I decided to ride it out because we prepaid for rent and I ended up writing the best love story ever: living in Playa del Carmen.
