Hosts Jeff and John talks to Elizabeth Reardon and Dallas Clark of the Massachusetts Substance Use Helpline by Health Resources in Action (HRiA) about how the organization's addiction helpline assists people in recovery who need support across Massachusetts. Elizabeth is the Manager of Substance Use Services at HRiA, and she has over 15 years of experience working in community-based public health programs focused on youth development, domestic and sexual violence prevention, and substance abuse prevention. Elizabeth tells her own story of recovery and discusses what kind of help callers can get from the helpline. Dallas is a Screening & Information Specialist at HRiA and a certified recovery coach, he has completed a Black Addiction Counselor Education program and is actively involved in his community of Springfield, MA.
