NKE stock is hitting 52-week lows after announcing that they expect sales to decline at a "mid single digit" percentage in the current fiscal year. The recent 20% drop in Nike stock has investors asking whether there's value to be had, or if this is a value trap.
To determine that, we looked at some of the systemic problems in Nike's business such as their failed pivot into direct-to-consumer and the slew of high level staff departures. We also looked at the bull case for Nike stock including a 22-year track record of consecutive dividend growth and an extremely strong brand.
