Rare earth stocks are a hot topic as investors realize that demand is increasing because of all the green technologies that use them. There are 17 rare earths utilized in everything from magnets to windmills, but they're on the radar of nations everywhere as rare earths are a necessity when you're creating war machines like fighter jets and submarines. Tesla announced their intentions to stop using rare earths, perhaps in response to the fact that China dominates the rare earths industry while the United States looks to remove their dependency on China for importing rare earths. Over 90% of rare earth imports utilized by the U.S. come directly from China. The same holds true for the European Union. We take a look at who has all the rare earth reserves, who is producing the most rare earth, and which two rare earth stocks caught our eyes for a possible future article on the topic. (Okay, twist our arms, we're talking about MP Materials and Lynas.) If you're keen on that, please share this video and subscribe to our channel.
