ChatGPT stock analysis is limited by the data cutoff in 2021, but that's not the only problem it has. If you're thinking about using ChatGPT for stock picking, forget about it. ChatGPT won't pick the perfect stock for you (nobody will), and it won't predict stock prices. Don't even ask, because it will tell you to pack sand. Instead, you can use ChatGPT to retrieve data about stocks you're researching. We used ChatGPT to analyze a series of mid-cap robotics stocks and the results were mixed. When we asked ChatGPT to help write the article, it fell flat on its face and did what most young people do - it demanded a pay rise after producing mediocre work. ChatGPT shows promise for stock analysis but has a long way to go before we can use it here at Nanalyze.
