Cannabis investors haven't been treated well as cannabis stocks trade at all-time low valuations. That's not a bad thing if you're looking to invest in a theme that's on the cusp of realizing its true potential when legalization finally happens. But it won't be one sudden event. The most progress being made right now is a proposal to reclassify cannabis from a Schedule I drug to a Schedule III drug. Let's just forget how absolutely mental the drug schedules are.
