The end of 2020 saw Groovy Daughter leave Canberra for Adelaide, drop a single and see in the new year as Triple J Unearthed Feature artist. She has graced the Groovin the Moo stage as well as more recently a socially distanced spot on the Isol-Aid live stream fest, which has been the new reality for performers during the pandemic. Back in the capital for a short visit we had to catch up with Nicole to talk about what’s happening south of the border.
Last month saw Nina Leo drop her debut solo single Recover. Her music is lyrically inspired by the good and the bad experiences of life. As the lead singer & guitarist of The Differs she supported Sputnik Sweetheart, Charlotte and the Harlots and Slow Dial at gigs around Canberra. Now working on a solo project we can expect an EP dropping later this year.
