Episode Synopsis
Keegan is an honor graduate from the United States Naval Academy who ranked in the top 3% of his class as a Systems Engineer while playing Division 1 football. On the football field, he earned First-Team Academic All-American honors (the 6th person in the Navy's history to do so) and won the Roger Staubach trophy (Team MVP) as well as the Joe Bellino Silver Helmet Award (best player in the State of Maryland). Keegan played in the NFL with the Chicago Bears in 2012 before returning to his duty as a Naval Officer. After a few years in the Navy, he turned to real estate investing. In 2019 he purchased his first piece of real estate in San Diego: a 3-unit multifamily for $1.4M with $0 down on his VA loan. Over the course of 2 years, he built a portfolio of OVER 150 units; which comprises large commercial syndications, joint commercial ventures with other investors, single family rentals, Airbnb and luxury vacation rentals, and even an RV rental business.
