Episode Synopsis
UNL's biennial runway fashion show took place April 20, 2012 in the Nebraska Union. The event featured cutting- edge fashion by top young designers in UNL's Textiles, Merchandising, and Fashion Design program.Special guest designer Laura McGrew of Tomboy Design Studio was among the judges, presenting one Best of Show award and two runner-up awards at the end of the night.
A team of faculty and students led by Michael James, professor and chair of Textiles, Merchandising, and Fashion Design collaborated to organize the show. Production staging was directed by the Johnny Carson School of Theater and Film. The show will also featured new compositions by faculty and students of the School of Music.
