At the end of the day, both of last year's NBA Finals teams saw their seasons come to an end after a pair of beatings. The Celtics moved on to face the Miami Heat after falling behind early but bouncing back quickly and eventually pulling away from the Bucks. In Phoenix, Luka Doncic and the Mavericks led the entire way the game was never in doubt.
