For the next several weeks, we will be studying the Apostle Paul’s teachings on human sexuality, the dangers of sexual relationships outside of marriage, the blessings of marital intimacy within marriage, and the struggles and benefits of being single.We live in a highly charged age where there are many opportunities to fall victim to sexual temptations. It is also a time when marriages break up at an all-time high percentage as well as the various distorted realities of unhealthy sexual behavior that isn’t normal in how God created men and women.There isn’t a person alive who isn’t impacted by immorality through personal experience or influenced and tempted by media and living in a society that bombards us with sexual advertising that’s designed to influence our behavior. The Holy Spirit shows us as believers what is pure and impure, and when we stumble, He brings us to a place of repentance and starting fresh again.There is grace and forgiveness for all who turn from their sin to Christ as He was tempted in all ways as we are, yet without sin. He can give us victory and power to overcome.
