Dorothy Gates Bio: I am the  wife of Lee Gates, a homeschooling mom to my 11 year old, spit-fire, Arlee, a ministry leader, author, speaker, but most importantly a child of the king.  

I grew up in an incredible Christian home, and was saved in 1997. Although I began my journey with God then, I didn’t begin a deep intimate relationship with him until 2015. I read the study Experiencing God and it turned my world upside down. I soon began my Yes Journey with God and it led to writing my first book, P.I.N.K. = People In Need of Kindness.  Since that time I have been on an exciting adventure with God and have become passionate in saying Yes to Him. My desire is to say YES to Him everyday and to encourage others to say Yes to Him. 
An interesting fact about me is that my dad is a retired pastor from Illinois, my brother is a pastor in Florida, my sister is married to a pastor in Ohio, and my husband surrendered to preach in 2020.
