Some thoughts after watching the memorial for Carlie Kirk: Anger was an appropriate emotion to feel in the days immediately following his murder, but now it’s time to move on. There was little to no anger in the voices or content of any of the speeches. The main focus was on Kirk as a Christian. That’s how he wanted to be remembered as opposed to being a political figure. Time will tell how he’ll be remembered but he got his wish today.
