Jesus knew he was more than just another teacher. Many religious leaders were threatened by Jesus’s following, so they tried challenge his authority while others watched. Jesus’s message will challenge everyone, but especially the religious. It is the religious (even his own followers) who will struggle to accept the truth of the person of Jesus. The call to trust is the same today as it was two thousand years ago.
