On todays episode Dan is joined by newly crowned National Collegiate Player of the Year Charlie DeLong. Charlie plays for D2 powerhouse Grand Valley State. At the time of recording Charlie was prepping for Collegiate Nationals as both him and his team qualified for the tournament. Charlie details how his journey led him to GVSU and what his plans going forward are. We talk about his practice routines, how important teammates are to him and he gives us the low down on college athlete life in and around Grand Valley State.
Post recording we found out that Charlie was named the D2 National Collegiate Golfer of the Year and will receive the Jack Nicklaus award. Enormous congrats to Charlie for all his hard work and dedication.
