This is week 2 our the series One Thing. This week we continue to uncover the importance of seeking God first. Not only should we seek God but we should pursue Him with the right motives. Even good things done with the wrong motives can turn situations into bad things. We look at historical accounts of a man named Philip and a man named Simon in the book of Acts. Through a relationship with God we are blessed in so many ways but it is important that we seek the Lord for the Lord and for Him alone first, not just for some reward. This talk reads over scriptures Matthew 6:33 and Acts 8:4-23.
