Since its founding in 2013 at Seattle Children’s Hospital, PLUGS (Patient-Centered Laboratory Utilization Guidance Services) has brought together laboratory professionals, genetic counselors, clinicians, patients, and insurance companies across the country to improve the application of laboratory tests in clinical practice.
