Authorities in Delaware are searching for an inmate who escaped during a work release in New Castle County.
Police say 28-year-old Darren Duffy never returned to the Plummer Community Corrections Facility in Wilmington on Sunday after his work release shift.
The facility is level four on Delaware's correctional hierarchy and helps inmates transition back into society, allowing them to maintain jobs and attend treatment.
Duffy is from New Castle and was locked up for violating his parole on a second-degree robbery charge.
