Nicole Lugo, MD is a current 3rd year Gyn Onc Fellow at City of Hope.
I invited Nicole on the podcast to kick off our Career Series where we will have multiple podcasts and dedicated content on finding the attending job that is right for you! This is pretty near and dear to my heart as I also just went through the interview process and learned so much that I wish I would have known earlier!
This podcast not only applies to Gyn Onc but could be applied to any speciality.
Nicole is from Puerto Rico and identified early that she wanted to go back to Puerto Rico. She tells us:

-Reaching out to places who don’t have listings
-Academic vs private vs hybrid models
-Contract information and so much more!
