Listen "Interview: Bruha"
Episode Synopsis
Azzan Booker, KGNU intern from Denver Public Schools, brought Fabian Guerrero, Nick Guerrero, Dasan Leon, and Adam Diaz from Bruha to Denver’s KGNU studios to talk with the up-and-coming Colorado band composed of young hispanic musicians in their teens and early twenties.
The band reflects on the excitement of playing at local venues for the first time and of people from the local music scene beginning to take notice of their music. Fabian Guerrero, Bruha’s lead singer, reflects on the band’s first bilingual album, which he produced single handedly, and talks about how the band is shifting to a more collaborative project where all members are co-writing the songs and will record upcoming songs together.
