After his teenage son was viciously assaulted simply to get notoriety and "likes" on social media, Ed Peisner founded the Organization for Social Media Safety in 2017 with the goal of ensuring that no other family had to endure such a terrible ordeal. His son, Jordan, was left with serious, life-long injuries from the assault. With patient determination, Ed set to work on public policy advocacy and grassroots engagement. He proudly travels the country teaching thousands of students and parents how best to stay safe while using social media.
