Listen "YYC59. The Environmental Workforce with Kevin Nilsen, President & CEO at Eco Canada"
Episode Synopsis
It is such a game changer to be able to have a business that not just support your passion and bring a huge return on investment but also contributes to the well-being of our environment.
As Kevin mentioned in this episode, environmental workforce is quite technical. It’s not just science and engineering that works along with this industry but it is also important to develop soft skills to grow.
We are joined today by Eco Canada’s President and CEO Kevin Nilsen to share not just his leadership journey but also how to thrive in the environmental workforce.
Kevin Nilsen is started his career in leadership as an officer in the Norwegian Army before moving to Canada in 2000. After graduating from the University of Calgary, Kevin worked 7 years for ECO Canada, most recently as Director of Professional Services. Kevin rejoined ECO Canada in September 2016 to commence the role of President & CEO of the organization.
