Hello, darlings, this is Joan de la Fleur.

I cannot believe I am having to ask what I am about to ask, but you may be wondering, who am I? And why am I doing a podcast?

While I'm sure you remember me... I'm sure of it! Because I spent my life and career- one and the same, really- ensuring that you would never forget me- here in the afterlife, I've heard talk of Marilyn Monroe, and Bette, and the other Joan, and the other other Joan... and years later, Jen. And Jennifer. And Jennifer. And Jennifer. And Jennifer and... so many Jennifers.

And yet nary a whisper of the one and only Ms. De la Fleur!

So, darlings, I've decided to host a podcast where you can indeed get to know more about me. I'll share stories of my time alive on earth as one of Hollywood's greatest stars; I'll share a bit about life after life. I'll perform monologues, share beauty tips, and maybe even answer your fan letters.

I will likely get salty, so heads up, not every episode is suitable for work or sensitive ears. Oh, I won't be giving specifics about my sex life, but I will acknowledge that sex lives exist, that sort of thing. We'll talk about martinis and some of the details of stardom that my surprise you!

But I do like to have fun, darlings, I really do, and so I won't do anything that isn't an enjoyable ride!

And I'll do only a little haunting. I do find that rather pedestrian, don't you?
