Process notes -
For this, I started with a very casual absently-minded piano piece using QuNexus, Noire Felt & Bitwig. I pulled a section of this - highlighting a scale including some quarter tones also making use of the flatted-fifth, (”The Devil’s Interval”), for this Disquiet Junto and another section for this week’s Naviar Haiku. Along with the piano part, I pulled into Ableton Live a resampled and stretched piece of the piano alongside a section of a SurgeXT improvisation earlier in the night. I added some effects while in Ableton.
Tools used - Bitwig, Ableton Live, Jasper Marsalis' Tone Resonator, Puremagnetik Pastfabric & Zerone, Surge XT, Noire piano.
