Listen "6. Asanda Mpunga"
Episode Synopsis
I left school in 2007 after I matriculated and then started this project in 2009. I come from a family that struggles financially, and my parents often went fishing to provide for us. I joined this project to try and assist my family financially, and it has made a significant difference back home. I learned how to sew here and I love my work. The sounds I associate with this project are the sounds of myself singing to work and the birds here and the sounds of ladies chatting as you walk in. IMIsEE audio postcard sound-scape exhibition
