Episode Synopsis
When life gets challenging, with illness, disability and accidents changing lives every day, PWC [People Working Cooperatively] in Cincinnati helps low income, elderly, disabled and other-challenged homeowners with making their homes accessible and safe. This non-profit construction company serves nearly 10,000 people a year in the Cincinnati region. This year's Tool Belt Ball will fund their Modifications for Mobility program to provide life-changing accessibility modifications for clients living with mobility issues. The story of last year's recipient is heart-breaking, and PWC's work is heart-warming. Then, working in the trades can provide good-paying and much-needed jobs.
