Jack had a lot to live for. He'd just moved from Cincinnati to Baltimore to work after college and begin his adult life. He was highly accomplished. National Honor Society. National Merit Scholar. Moeller High School football player 4 years. Finished Top 10 in his class. Awarded a college scholarship to USC (University of South Carolina). He had a lot to live for. A month after he settled into his place in Baltimore, he and a friend shared a recreational drug both must've thought was harmless. He didn't do drugs. He wasn't suicidal. Yet that one pill, poisoned with fentanyl, took BOTH of their lives.Today you'll hear from Jack's Dad, Tom Quehl. He and his wife deeply grieved, then decided no one should have to endure that. They started the Jack Quehl Foundation, dedicated to teaching young people the very real, deadly dangers that disguise themselves in drugs that appear "harmless" or "prescription."
